2 et problems :/

ok i have two et problems

first one is pretty stupid and prob an easy fix, i just dont know how: when i start ET and i get on a server my screen is always flickering, and will continue to flicker till i do a vid_restart

now this really not to bad since i use a cfg, which requires a vid_restart, but i would still like to know why it dose this

second problem

well this really isnt a "problem" but its that i hvve a shitttttt assssssss computer and get mad FPS lag like once every minute on jaymod, now i already use a cfg that gives ET THE LOWEST POSSaBILE graphics lol lits like some 8bit crap, but i need to know ways to make my computer run et better besides disk defrags, changing priority and doing virus scans. i have windows vista so idunno any help would be nice

lower the amount of programs running.

I use tune up utilities which has rush mode to turn of all unnecessary programs.

That's all you can do I think, besides buying a pwning computer

Hardware will work on any OS, and you can backup your data if you have an external HDD, dvd-r discs, usb pendrive etc etc

yea play safe and don't download xp from internet lot of fake files exe with virus inside migth attack your *cough* stable *cough* operation system
yea i agree with you on that one too when comps are designed for a unique OS, it's very dangerous to install another OS, you know deleted hardware might cause crashes on new hardware and stuff, very dangerous may cause the Microsoft beloved BSoD lulz

There isn't a Windows hardware. There are PC's(any IBM-compatible computer) and Mac's(based on the PowerPC architecture from Apple/IBM/Motorola instead of the traditional Intel based microprocessors that have powered PCs for decades)

And no, you can't run Mac OS natively on PC hardware, you can use a emulator like PearPC PowerPC Architecture Emulator which isn't illegal.

I should have stated otherwise, I meant the computer upon where you are using windows as an OS didn't knew about the emulator though.
Will have to check that out.

Well, about RaNGe's download issue, I have some safe torrents since I downloaded my XP version and Win7 version, where my PC had Vista when I got it here.
But it's true though, a lot of fakes are there floating in the interwebs.

As for the loss of files/good shit, you can just back it up on a (if so) second drive or whatever, nothing much to it.
