bigggg troubles

i cant play et on my new notebook, there is all the time a message showing up saying: "game code (ui_mp_x86.dll) failed pure server check"
what can i do what shall i do i dunno whatta do???????

PLEASE HELP ME HELP HELP AND HELP AGAIN...
i also downloaded et from different links and installed it again also i patched them up at et 2.6b...but it doesnt work

let me guess....... is it a Vista notebook ??

i had that aswell when i got my new PC last year, it turned out to be because my PC was running Vista...... which sucks ass

i typed the "game code (ui_mp_x86.dll) failed pure server check" into Google, it worked out for me

no need to worry, it was an easy problem to fix, search it in Google and you'll be back pwning those servers in no time

vista is actually great OS if u know how to use its settings right

Have you tried the "running as administrator" option hoinky?
Otherwise, right click on ET icon and select running as administrator.
For a more permanent solution select options on the shortcut tab select advanced and then run as administrator.

Used to play a real cool game about 8 to 10 years ago running on windows 95 called Atlantis: the lost city. Enjoyed many hours with that game, even remember calling me sick from school to stay at home to play it, lol.

Now we have the Me, xp, vista, windows 7 and who knows what else, where it doesn't function at all.

In a nuttshell: evolution sucks.
